HOW TO APPLY...

MATERIALS

  • 2 clean, lint free rags
  • ​or 1 lint free rag & 1 brush
  • Gloves
  • Pearl Wood Oil: White or Clear

  1. MIX WOOD OILS well, materials at the bottom of the can must be redistributed. Different containers should be should be mixed into a bucket before use.

DIRECTIONS

1. Use a rag or brush to apply oil to the wood's surface, working boards by board or in 12-24 inch sections, working length of the planks. 
​
2. Apply oil and wipe off in 5-15 minutes with new clean, lint free rag. 

​3. Keep working in sections, applying with one rag and wiping with the other.


4. You can apply up to 3 coats of Wood Oil. Each coat will continue to lighten the finished product.

5.Dry Times:
  • After 24 hours the floor can be used with caution. 
  • Fully cured after 48 hours.​​ ​

Clean tools with mineral spirits.

DIRECTIONS WITH FLOOR MACHINE​
​

MATERIALS
  • Pearl Wood Oil
  • Padco Roller
  • Floor Machine or Orbital 
  • Woca White Polishing Cloth
  • Beige or Red Polishing Floor Pad
  • White Polishing Floor Pad

FLOORS
  1. MIX oil container well before and during use. Different containers should be should be mixed into a bucket before use. 
  2. Apply the oil with a short-haired paint roller in an even coat onto approx. 50 sq. ft.  of floor. Keep in mind wood's various level of porosity. If dry spots appear, apply more oil. 
  3. Leave the oil to be absorbed for 5-10 minutes. Pick a length of time and stay consistent  
  4. The area is now polished with depending on the look you want, use red or beige polishing pad under orbital buffer or with floor machine until surface appears saturated.
  5. Polish the floor using cotton cloth under white floor pad to remove any excess oil. Repeat steps until the whole floor has been polished. The floor should not appear wet and there should not be any excess oil left on the surface after polishing.
  6. After 6-8 hours, the floor should be dry-buffed with White polishing pad. If a silk-mat surface is required, the finished floor may be buffed with 1 oz. of Oil to 50 sq. ft. of floor. This should be done between 6-12 hours after first application. The oil must be polished thoroughly into the floor. Remove any excess oil from the surface.
  7. Dry Times:
    1. After 24 hours the floor can be used with caution. 
    2. Fully cured after 48 hours.​
  8. Re-apply annually or as needed.
